4 secrets no one tells you about being a mum, part 1

I’m going to let you in on these massive secrets that no one is really talking about. Except me because I love getting this knowledge out there to help.

Perhaps you can make use of them, or help someone else with your knowledge. If it can’t help you physically, then maybe it will at least help your sanity, or someone else’s.

Either way, it’s out there now!

1)   Why is it then no one talks about peeing ourselves, leaking, bladder weakness, sensitive bladder. New mums and not so new mums.

The longer it goes on for, we often just resign ourselves to it.
We have stress incontinence where there are accidental involuntary leaks of urine most often when sneezing or coughing, running, jumping. It’s a lack of muscle tone unable to cope with the sudden pressure. We want these muscles stronger to cope with these unexpected moments.
There is also urinary incontinence where you maybe don’t quite have the hold control anymore and can’t quite make it to the toilet in time, I often find moments like when you put the key in the door trigger this urge. Improving the strength of your pelvic floor muscles will enable you to keep control past this urge and make it in time.
